The
Museum premises also include a small heritage park, situated in the
vicinity of the castle and covering the area of ? hectares (0,62 acres).
The park was created between 1987-1994. It comprises 5 facilities
whose functioning in situ (in the original position) was endangered:
1) A double-tract cottage of the sumikowo-łątkowa construction (vertical
posts and horizontal bars) with a hip roof, covered with straw. The
cottage dates back to the year 1784. It was brought to Gosławice from
the village of Kopojno, the commune of Zagórów.
2) A barn of the sumikowo-łątkowa construction with coal corners (the
so-called fishtail) and a pitched roof. It had a hinged entrance gate
and its exit gate could be moved with the use of rockers. The barn
dates back to the year 1784. It was brought to Gosławice from the
village of Czepów, the commune of Uniejów.
3) A windmill of the "koźlak" type dating back to the end
of the 19th century with complete original furnishings, brought from
the village of Bochlewo, the commune of Kazimierz Biskupi. It was
moved from its original position to enable the "Konin" Brown
Coal Mine to carry out mining activity at the site.
4) A windmill of the "koźlak" type, reconstructed of the
elements of two destroyed windmills from the village of Kotwasice,
the commune of Malanów and the village of Goranin, the commune of
Ślesin. The windmill houses the exposition of mill appliances.
5) A blacksmith's shop with a protruding arcade; a reconstruction
of a facility from the village of Tarnów.
